Capt Bob was responsive during the reservation process and his boat, gear, and hospitality were second to none. Booked a private 3+ hour snorkeling tour for 6 (3 kids) and he knew the best spots off the coast. Saw countless types of fish, Florida lobster, and a nurse shark! Highly recommend his service. Fabulous! With COVID-19 risk, we decided to charter our own Pennekamp snorkel trip. It was well worth the extra cost over a group trip. Not only did we feel completely safe, but Captain Bob is great. He was knowledgable and personable. He also provided all kinds of extras at no extra charge, the highlight of which was the use of an underwater camera. He uploads the photos and videos to you at no charge. He also includes pictures he takes of us from the boat. His boat is spotless, and the equipment brand new. We brought our own masks, but chose to use his because they were like new and cleaned with bleach water between triups. We can't wait to return.read moreread less

- 5 STARS Captain Bob made the day so enjoyable! My husband and three boys (ages 7-18) all gave this trip 5 stars. I’ve never booked a Trip Advisor excursion ... so I had no idea what to expect. Here’s what we found out - 2.5 hours was the perfect amount of time to have a full snorkel experience. Bob was wearing a mask the whole time () and was a perfect blend of professional and casual. We felt completely relaxed and at ease due to his thorough, casual, preparedness and cool. His boat is WAY more than I expected.
Very comfortable, cushioned seating for 6. Bimini tops for plenty of shade, very nice snorkel equipment, a great sound system, on board fresh water hose, shampoo and conditioner AND he offered his Go Pro for us to use in the water ... and sent us the photos and videos we took.

The boat was clean with all necessary items on the boat. We brought our own snorkel gear - which I'd recommend due to COVID. The boat easily fit our family. Captain Bob was friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. He clearly knew the area and the boat. The water colors are truly amazing to see. The reefs are easily accessible by the boat. Our youngest was 5 and could see the fish and water life with no issues. The boat has an easy ladder to access when snorkeling.
I'd recommend bringing your own snacks.
Easy parking and docking.
The only downside is beyond anyone's control - is the amount of boats on the water on a holiday weekend and access to sites. - We booked a snorkeling trip with Captain Bob Eich and absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. It was just our family so we were happy that we didn’t have to worry about contracting the virus. The boat was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The Captain provided cooler with ice and refreshments, which was very nice. The Captain was very knowledgeable and made recommendations to take us to three wonderful snorkeling spots. They were all not crowded with other tourists and absolutely amazing! Beautiful coral and fish! On top of that, Captain Bob took many photos of our family with his own phone and send them to us after the trip! Thank you again Captain Bob!

I researched long and hard because of covid.It was myself and 2 of my sisters. We didn't want the tourist boats with 20-40 people and we didn't want to go with the dive boats because we felt they cater to the divers. I found Cap't Bob and the group snorkel, minimum 3- maximum 6 people.No one else booked that day so it was just the 3 of us. What we liked, his boat was spotless with comfortable seating,a cooler with water and soda,great music but the big bonus is the go- pro he let's you use while you are snorkeling to take pictures and video!
